MAIN 24HE BOILER FAULT?

Heres a recent repair carried out in Billericay Essex, on a MAIN 24HE BOILER.

The customer noticed water dripping out from the bottom of the boiler, and contacted us immediately.

The front case was removed and the leak was quickly revealed.

This leak was coming from the front of the diverter valve and is quite a common issue on this type of boiler.

As a result of this BAXI have created an easy fix.

THE SOLUTION?

To solve the problem is fairly simple if you know what your doing & most importantly it is not expensive.

The diverter valve was removed from the boiler, taken apart and all washers and o rings were replaced.

Another common issue with the diverter valve on POTTERTON, MAIN OR BAXI boilers is the pin that moves in and out to make the switch can tend to stick due to water corrosion.

To prevent this happening we also free the pins and oil them up while were there.

After a couple hours the job was complete leaving another happy customer.
